Delete My Account

You can delete your Nani Sore account and its associated content at any time. There is no form to fill in and nobody to persuade.

From inside the app

1. Open Nani Sore and go to your profile.
2. Open Account settings.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. Deletion begins immediately.

If you can't get into the app

Email nanisore@quaal.co with the subject “Nani Sore Account Deletion”, from the email address associated with your account so we can identify it. If you signed in with Apple and used Hide My Email, send it from that relay address or tell us your display name.

We will confirm and complete the deletion, and we aim to do it within three business days.

What gets deleted

• Your account record and authentication details.
• Your profile information and display name.
• Every photo you have taken or uploaded, including drafts and local-only posts.
• Every caption, tag, description and generated result attached to them.
• Your public posts — they are removed from the gallery for everyone.
• Any messages you have sent through the app.

What may remain, and why

• Encrypted backups. Content can persist in rolling backups for a short period before those are cycled out.
• Legal and security records. Information we are required to keep for legal, fraud-prevention, security or record-keeping purposes.
• A minimal tombstone. If other people replied to your posts, we keep only an identifier and the fact of deletion so their own photos and posts keep working. It contains no image, no text and no location — nothing of yours is visible in it.
• Other people's posts. If someone else replied to a post of yours, their reply is their own photo and their own content, and it stays. Your image does not survive inside it.
• Beta list. If you registered for beta testing on this website, tell us and we will remove that record too — it is stored separately from your app account.

Just want one photo gone?

You don't need to delete your whole account. Open the post in the app and delete it there, or switch it back to Local so only you can see it. If you can't reach it, email us with enough detail to identify the post.
